How many cotton candies can you make per hour?
We can make approximately 25–30 character cotton candies per hour per team.

Is this unlimited cotton candy?
No. This is a live cotton candy art experience and each character is made individually. We create approximately 25–30 character cotton candies per hour per team.

How early do you arrive to set up?
We typically arrive 15–30 minutes before the event to set up.

Do you need access to electricity?
Yes. We require access to a dedicated electrical outlet. For outdoor events or locations without easy access to power, we may have the option to bring our own generator.

How much space do you need?
We require approximately a 5x5 space for our setup.

Do you offer more than one team?
Yes. If you have a larger event, ask us about adding a second team to increase output.

What flavors do you offer?
Our standard flavors include Blue Raspberry, Banana, Watermelon, and Birthday Cake. Premium packages include additional flavors like Orange and Sassy Apple.

Can we choose the characters?
Yes. Our standard package includes 7 character designs and our premium package includes 12 character designs. Character options may vary based on event type, theme, and availability.

Do you offer custom themes?
Yes. We can tailor the experience to match your event theme, colors, or celebration style.

Can you match our event colors or theme?
Yes. We can help tailor characters, flavors, signage, and presentation to complement your event.

Do you offer custom banners?
Yes. We offer custom event banners including hand-painted craft paper banners for $50 and custom printed banners for $75.

Do you work indoor and outdoor events?
Yes, we can work both indoor and outdoor events as long as we have the required space, setup conditions, and access to electricity or generator access if needed.

What happens if our event is outdoors?
For outdoor events we’ll need a flat setup area. A shaded or covered area is preferred especially during hot or windy weather. If power is not easily available we may have the option to bring our own generator.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date with the remaining balance due the day of the event.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my event?
The $100 deposit is non-refundable. However we may honor the deposit for another date and time depending on availability.

Can we add additional time during the event?
Additional time may be available the day of the event depending on availability. Same-day event extensions are $125 per additional hour. Pre-booked additional hours are $100 per additional hour.

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible especially for weekends, holidays, school events, and large celebrations.

What types of events do you service?
We are perfect for birthdays, quinceañeras, school events, corporate events, employee appreciation events, festivals, holiday parties, and private celebrations.

Is cotton candy made fresh at the event?
Yes. Our cotton candy is made live on-site giving guests both a sweet treat and an interactive experience.

Do you travel outside El Paso?
Travel outside the El Paso area may be available upon request and may include an additional travel fee.

Can I pre-order cotton candy for pickup?
No. At this time Melania Cotton Candy does not offer pre-orders or pickup orders. We specialize in live cotton candy art experiences for events.

Do you offer fundraisers?
We currently offer fundraising opportunities for school events only. Fundraiser availability may depend on the event date, location, and event details.
